Emblem Taum Sauk Trail

21 miles of rugged Ozark mountain country are traversed by the Taum Sauk Trail. Beginning in Pilot Knob, Mo., the two-day one-way backpack trail is highlighted by an overnight stay on Taum Sauk Mountain and ends at Johnson Shut-Ins State Park. The trail will take you by Mina Sauk Falls and to Devils Toll Gate. You will have many scenic vistas, with expansive views of the surrounding countryside.
